The Ardgowan Hotel and The Pilmour Hotel in St Andrews.We are Scottish Tourist Board 3 Star rated accommodation, centrally located within walking distance of the University of St Andrews and the world famous Old Course.
The Ardgowan was designed by the famous Scottish architect, George Rae, and was built in 1847.Now a family run hotel, The Ardgowan comprises of 29 comfortable en suite bedrooms across the two adjoining Georgian town houses.
The Pilmour Hotel, located just next door, dates from 1820 and has a further 7 en-suite bedrooms.We are currently looking for a part-time Housekeeper to join our team.
Previous experience is preferred but not required. Reliability and honesty is an important aspect of this position, as well as attention to detail and time-keeping.
Your main duties as a housekeeper within the hotel will be:
- Changing/making beds
- Cleaning hotel rooms and bathrooms to a high standard
- Hoovering and cleaning public areas
- Replenishing bedroom stock
- Work as part of a team

£10.50 per hour
