The Role


We are currently looking for a qualified Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our CYPIT team based across the Wokingham, Reading and West Berkshire areas.


In the role you will be assessing and providing therapy to school age children covering both mainstream and special schools.

You will be responsible for the planning and management of your own caseload and use an impact-based model of clinical decisionmaking to best support the needs of each child.

You will liaise with families, schools and external agencies to deliver support and training where required.

We are open to both Band 5 & band 6 applicants for this role.

We can be flexible on working hours between the core hours of 9:00 - 17:00pm but ensuring main school hours are covered.

We are also happy to consider people wishing to work term time only forthese roles.


Skills & Abilities

Education / Qualifications

Essential

  • Be a qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
  • Have previous experience working in paediatrics
  • Full UK driving license with access to vehicle
