Teaching Assistant - Bolton


Tempest Education are currently seeking to appoint an part time Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school based in Bolton.


In this role, you will be working alongside class teachers to help provide additional and intensive support to small groups or individual children in a particular area of the curriculum.


This is a great opportunity to build upon your skill set whilst working in a friendly, nurturing environment with welcoming staff and pupils.

Your duties as a Teaching Assistant:

  • Providing additional support to small groups of children
  • Creating fun and exciting activities
  • Assisting in school trips


  • Working across KS1/KS

  • Working alongside class teachers
  • Running interventions
  • Work alongside teachers, and children, to support teaching and learning in the classroom.

Your requirements as a Teaching Assistant:

  • Eligible to work within the UK
  • Experience working within KS1/KS
  • Enhanced DBS on the online update service
