What are you looking for in this role? We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and active individuals who can be seen as peers by those they support

What do we do? We provide inclusive, innovative, and caring 24 hour support for people with a learning disability and autism.

Do I need a driving licence? Yes a UK driving licence is essential for this role but you DO NOT need your own vehicle. You must have held your licence for over one year to get onto our insurance

How do we do this in Manchester? We have a number of services across the entirety of Manchester and Stockport. This advert is for our Moston service, however feel free to enquire about other locations

What do our Support Workers do? The key role of a Support Worker is to assist every person to lead an engaging and fulfilled life.

What are some of the most challenging parts of the role Part of your role is to support a person during significant emotional issues. The right person for the role will be calm, confident and assured to help that person recover in tough moments. On the other hand it's equally important the right person is fun and positive to help improve the emotional well being of those they support, and get the most from what is an incredibly fun and rewarding role.

What are the shift patterns? Most people average between - 4 shift per week working a minimum of 39 hours. Most services will also require you to sleep at the building 1-2 times per week

What activities will I do? We do everything a person wants to do - aside form the normal stuff you could be hiking, going to the Gym or supporting the person to access education or a work placement.
