Empowering Learning are a market leading education recruitment company.

We are working in partnership with a friendly, welcoming and well-respected Primary School in Burton to recruit for a SEN Teaching Assistant.

Daily rate of pay depends on experience between £88.00 to £108.00 per day.


If you are passionate about inclusion and ensuring all children receive access to cohesive Teaching & Learning through support both academically and from a pastoral aspect to support students in their independence in each of their individual learning journeys.


The Job:


  • The school is looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion and providing additional support, to provide the very best opportunity for allocated students.
  • Have experience working with children of a Secondary age in a Learning Support environment.
  • Have the confidence and ability to challenge negative behaviours and refocus learning engagement.
  • Have an understanding of SEND and provide a calm and nurturing learning environment.
