Social Media and Marketing Executive

Marketing and Social Media

This role allows an enthusiastic and creative individual to explore and develop their experience within the marketing and social media world and is a perfect role for a recent graduate looking to put their creative skills and energy to good use.

Reporting to:
Global Sales Director & Managing Director

Probation: 3 Months

Purpose of Job

Marketing

To create a 'corporate' marketing strategy and implementation plan, working with the Global Sales Director (GSD)/Managing Director (MD) to identifying future opportunities for brand enhancement.
To deliver marketing campaigns for all business areas in partnership with GSD/MD.
Assistance in managing the marketing budget.
To work with colleagues to develop marketing collateral and brand awareness.
To monitor partner satisfaction through market research and feedback and identify actions and campaigns to enhance wherever possible.
Update website.
Create Online Social Media Ads, flyers, general presence to attract the right audience.

To identify press opportunities within the educational industry.
To keep a diary of press communications activity
To develop corporate messages and circulate proactively.

Social Media

To be responsible for all social media activity (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) and managing corporate social media accounts.
Create campaigns and ads for all courses.
Monitoring, managing and altering ads & campaigns when required.
To work with the GSD/MD and partners to support campaigns and initiatives
Seek opportunities to improve the use of social media and develop 'followers'

Raise the profile of GIE at national and international level.
Greater external awareness, understanding and credibility for GIE.
Proactive and coordinated press communications.
Coordinated programme campaigns and social media activity.
Improved media relations and press coverage (including published articles/blogs)
