Director of Clinical Services - Priory Hospital Marlow, High Wycombe - Salary £53,000


We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Director of Clinical Services/ Matron/Team Lead/Clinical Lead to join an inpatient hospital team for adults with eating disorders in High Wycombe.

This is a 14 bedded, specialist eating disorder service for mixed gender adults.

Priory Hospital Marlow is located just outside High Wycombe, within easy access of the M40, M25, Central London, and the nearby towns of Marlow and Maidenhead.


We offer a warm and nurturing environment where people receive intensive treatment for eating disorders including severe and enduring anorexia nervosa.

The hospital boasts a beautiful environment with recently refurbished grounds and we are currently rates 'Good' overall.


You role as the DOCs will be to work closely to support the HD with the running of the Hospital.

You will also oversee the much valued nursing team, with the support of full MDT team including a Ward Manger and 2 Deputy Managers.

This role is close to Matron/Team Lead/Clinical Lead within the NHS.


What you need to apply

  • 3 years post graduate experience
  • Registered with the NMC, HCPC or Social Work England
  • Experience of working at a supervisory or managerial level within a mental health environment; minimum 3 years working as a Ward Manager or equivalent. Experience of managing a clinical budget
  • Experience of leading, implementing and reviewing quality initiatives in a related environment.
Strong background within leadership and people management. Detailed understanding of statutory regulations is essential. -Passionate about providing high quality care and continuous improvement
