**A Human Resources Advisor / HR Officer who has experience in taking the lead and initiating new projects, is needed to join one of Britain's most prestigious private members clubs on a 12 month fixed term contract. Expect to play a key role in assisting with the HR activities for this historic club.


Situated in 42 acres of landscaped grounds adjacent to the River Thames in Fulham, the Club is recognised as one of the worlds finest private member clubs.

Since its opening in 1869, the Clubs croquet and tennis lawns, botanical gardens and stately Georgian Clubhouse have made it a sought-after destination for exclusive sporting and social activities.


Joining as the Human Resources Advisor / HR Officer you will be responsible for all aspects of HR, including benefits, contracts, employee relations and assisting with ad-hoc projects.

On a day-to-day basis your duties will be, administering paperwork for new starters, leavers and employment changes in addition to conducting new starter meetings and exit interviews, and delivering HR Workshops for line managers.

You will also be responsible for taking minutes and coordinating Employee Relations processes, including disciplinary, capability and grievance procedures, weekly and monthly pay runs and conducting DBS checks.


To qualify Whether you call yourself a Human Resources Advisor / HR Officer / HR Admin / Human Resources Advisor / HR Coordinator or similar we dont mind, your CV should demonstrate:

  • HR experience (Officer/Advisor role required).
  • Experience dealing with confidential matters.
  • Strong knowledge of Right to Work in the UK evidence.
  • Experience of coordinating ER processes, including disciplinary, capability and grievance procedures.
  • Flexibility to working, as some weekends/evenings may be required.
  • The ability to multitask with accuracy across several concurrent duties and projects.
  • Experience of IT packages including Microsoft Office, Teams, and bespoke systems. Experience with Cascade, Focus and DocuSign are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of different casual worker agreements and employment contract types.
  • Experience with data reporting.
  • Experience of carrying out DBS checks desired.
  • CIPD Level 3 is required. CIPD Level 5 is ideal but not essential to be considered for this Fixed Term Contract._
  • Previous experience in a members club, hotel or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential._
