Predominantly operating throughout Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, we provide high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems, those who are experiencing homelessness.

About the role


Part of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of high quality care and support services in your designated area, leading on engagement with commissioning authorities, strategic planning and overall governance.

You'll take ownership for implementing service improvements and will lead on tender submissions and empowering our operational staff within our schemes to deliver exceptional support to our service users.

Given that the department supports a broad range of cohorts, Heads may be allocated to oversee alternative patch areas/cohorts depending on the needs of the business.

Do you have a can-do attitude and the desire to be the difference?

An experienced senior manager, knowledgeable in the field of learning disabilities, you'll be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff to achieve consistently high levels of performance.
  • Experience in working in the sector, delivering new service models and presenting at a strategic level
  • Indepth knowledge of existing and pending legislation to lead on the strategic direction of the department
  • A track record of completing tender submissions and promoting interagency work with colleagues, families and external agencies.
  • Excellent Communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
