Credit Controller

Orka Financial is working with a fast-growing company based in Crowthorne, who are looking for an experienced and proactive Credit Controller to join their finance team.

Responsibilities:

Pro actively manage a designated portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collections and reducing aged debt
Handle both inbound and outbound calls to resolve payment queries, disputes, and outstanding balances
Monitor credit limits, release orders, and control credit exposure to minimize the risk of bad debts
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient collection processes
Conduct regular credit checks on new and existing customers and recommend appropriate credit limits based on risk assessment
Prepare and distribute accurate and timely reports on the status of outstanding debts and collections activities
Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
Implement effective credit control procedures and policies to optimize cash flow and minimize debtor days
Work closely with the finance team to provide support during monthend and yearend closing activities

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Credit Controller within a fastpaced environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage collections and resolve payment issues through inbound and outbound calls
Strong understanding of credit control procedures and practices
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience
