BRC are working with a Reputable Housing Association in the South West who are looking to recruit for a Senior Surveyor as part of their Asset Delivery Team to support and oversee a small team of surveyors delivering repairs and planned works to their properties.

Main Responsibilities:

Carry out property surveys to assess works required for repairs, minor or major planned works and asset improvement programmes and prepare the scope of works to be carried out
Monitor the performance of contractors, ensuing works are carried out on time, within budget and that contractors are following all health and safety and CDM regulations
Support the delivery of a cost effective maintenance service by operating within appropriate financial policies, procedures and financial limits/budgets
Ensure investment works are compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements and make appropriate recommendations on changes that me need to be made throughout the project
Maintain appropriate documentation for work specifications and tenders
Manage and monitor contractor invoicing and quotations to ensure that the business is receiving value for money
Oversee minor works, refurbishments, void surveying as well as planning the major and cyclical works programmes, including kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows, roofing and cyclical decoration
Carry out site inspections, including inspections works and sign off completed works
Liaise and work closely with customers, ensuring the delivery of a high standard of customer service
