Madisons Recruitment, on behalf of our client, are recruiting for an Site Manager to join a busy company working on local sites all over the UK.
We are looking for an Site Manager with a proven track record delivering new build commercial developments from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects from start to finish and Produce monthly reports and chair site meetings with Clients design team.
- Handle all operatives on site, both directly employed or subcontracted and provide clear written instructions to individuals to ensure works are carried out.
- Managing control and quality control procedures
- Maintain site diary to be completed daily.
- To ensure all works are completed to the highest standard and in accordance with Quality control list.
- Selecting tools and equipment and sourcing materials.
- Understanding schedule of works document/ our tender price and liaise with QS to monitor costs.
- Chasing subcontractors and suppliers for start/delivery dates.
- Site inductions to all staff and visitors to site
- Acquiring and evaluating RAMS/COSHH from subcontractors prior to them commencing on site.
- Excellent Leadership Skills and strong experience in running teams
- Confident communicator
- Good knowledge in using MS Office.
- Full UK Driving License
- CSCS (essential
- SMSTS(essential)
- First Aid (preferred)
- Fire Marshal (preferred)
- PASMA (preferred)
