Madisons Recruitment, on behalf of our client, are recruiting for an Site Manager to join a busy company working on local sites all over the UK.


We are looking for an Site Manager with a proven track record delivering new build commercial developments from start to finish.

This would suit a Site Manager who is willing to travel across the uk with accommodation provided.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee projects from start to finish and Produce monthly reports and chair site meetings with Clients design team.
  • Handle all operatives on site, both directly employed or subcontracted and provide clear written instructions to individuals to ensure works are carried out.
  • Managing control and quality control procedures
  • Maintain site diary to be completed daily.
  • To ensure all works are completed to the highest standard and in accordance with Quality control list.
  • Selecting tools and equipment and sourcing materials.
  • Understanding schedule of works document/ our tender price and liaise with QS to monitor costs.
  • Chasing subcontractors and suppliers for start/delivery dates.
  • Site inductions to all staff and visitors to site
  • Acquiring and evaluating RAMS/COSHH from subcontractors prior to them commencing on site.
Key Requirements

  • Excellent Leadership Skills and strong experience in running teams
  • Confident communicator
  • Good knowledge in using MS Office.
Preferable Training/Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving License
  • CSCS (essential
  • SMSTS(essential)
  • First Aid (preferred)
  • Fire Marshal (preferred)
  • PASMA (preferred)
