About Equilore:
Equilore provides Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP), a nature-based form of mental health support where horses co-facilitate wellness and counselling sessions.
We work with a range of people from children to adults, from those suffering with mental health challenges such as extreme anxiety, mood disorders and trauma as well as providing a positive therapeutic approach for those suffering with long term or terminal illness.
What you will be doing:
In this role, you will act as a first point of contact both face to face and over the telephone, handling a diverse range of enquiries from referrers, clients and their families, volunteers, supporters, staff and members of the public.
In addition, you will provide a high level of administrative and customer care support to include general book-keeping input into the finance system, raising invoices and following up on payments, donation processing, database maintenance, delivering support activities for the Director and the team of therapists.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and deepen your understanding of fundraising and charity work, be involved in maintaining excellent client and supporter relationships whilst working within a supportive and professional team.
The role is 10-15 hours per week worked over four to five days, and so would suit someone looking for a role that can fit around other responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Administration:
- Supporting the Director with daytoday administration tasks
- Support volunteers and staff working on the yard
- Tracking, formatting and publishing of policies, ensuring they are reviewed regularly
- Raise invoices for clients, follow up on payments and reconcile in the finance system
- Carry out basic bookkeeping tasks on an ongoing basis to ensure the charity's accounts are in good order and in readiness for endofyear accounts
- Assist with organisation, communication and meeting minutes for the Director and Trustees
- Admin oversight of Equilore's client management system
- Track and chase deadlines for tasks required by the charity commission and accountants, training,
- Support the Director in administering induction Health and Safety/Fire training for new & existing staff.
- Maintain the website and social media content
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Essential Requirements
Education, Qualifications & Training
- Experience in administrative systems (i.e. Xero, Wordpress etc).
- At least 1 year experience working in an administration role.
- To have recent experience with documenting and logging information, and record keeping.
- Experience with people who have additional needs or mental health challenges.
- Excellent organisational skills
