Description
An engineering company in Halstead are looking for a TIG Welder to join their team. If you have any experience of TIG welding, then this could be a great next step for your career as the company can offer further help and training to develop your skills

They are an engineering firm that are looking to increase their team size, due to their busy order books. Due to this they have lots of overtime available all paid at 1.5x rate

Hourly wage for this position will be circa £28,000 but rates will be dependent on previous experience, and some specific training will be provided too which will result in higher rates


Welding duties include:

  • TIG welding on aluminium and stainless steel
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings
  • Welding between 16mm
  • Some fabrication when required
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Stick to health and safety policies


You will be TIG welding aluminium & stainless-steel parts & components, so TIG welding experience is essential to be considered.

However, some further training will be provided to upskill you.
