About Our Client:

Our client a Successful Group of Companies based in Tilford, near Farnham are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the team, due to location you'd need to be a driver

As the Accounts Assistant you'll be responsible for:
A varied role supporting the group's accounting team.


Main responsibilities will include:

Purchase Ledger:

  • Reconcile delivery notes and purchase orders to invoice
  • Code & process
  • Prepare & process monthly payment runs

Sales Ledger:

  • Process & allocate receipts to invoice

Company Credit Cards:

  • Reconcile receipts to statements, code & process

Petty Cash:

  • Issue, reconcile cash, code & process
  • Assist with credit control
  • Assist with bank reconciliation
  • Assist with intercompany reconciliation
  • Assist with adhoc reports & analysis

Admin duties:

  • Incoming & outgoing post
  • Scanning invoices
  • Telephone support

The Successful Applicant:


  • Ideally experience in a similar role but not essential
  • Good Excel skills
  • Experience using Sage is beneficial bit not essential
  • You can be studying for an Accountancy qualification but its not essential
  • Accurate
  • Organised
  • Proactive, positive attitude
  • Professional written communication skills

What's on Offer:

- £24,000 - £28,000

  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
with 30 minute lunch or with 30 minute lunch.

  • Study Support but you don't need to be studying
