£8,533.20 per annum

15 hours per week

Accruing days holiday + bank holidays | Sick pay eligibility after 12-month qualifying period | Life Assurance 2 x salary

Shorncliffe Administration Centre is one of our busy care centres, based in Folkestone, Kent.


This is a busy admin centre supporting 14 branches with funeral processing, invoicing, credit control, banking, inputting time sheets and system reporting.

Shorncliffe Administration Centre are looking for a professional and compassionate individual to join our collaborative and dedicated team as a Funeral Director

What Will I Be Doing As An Administrator?


As an Administrator, you will be at the core of our business and the service we deliver within the community.

As an Administrator, you will be responsible for liaising directly with Funeral Directors and Ministers, ensuring any specific requests from the family regarding the chapel set-up are carried out.


Other duties will include:

  • Inputting the cremation and burial paperwork onto our bespoke system to comply with legislation and law
  • Preparation of all documentation to facilitate the daily operation of the crematorium
  • Liaise with Funeral Directors and Ministers, ensuring any specific requests from the family are inputted in the database regarding services that are carried out
  • Preparation of banking, client invoices and supporting credit control with branches
  • Maintaining accurate, indexed records of funeral arrangements
  • Maintaining confidentiality when processing legal burial and cremation documents
  • Input & maintain records on computers to comply with industry regulations
  • Ensure the safe custody of ashes in the care of the crematorium

What Do I Need?

  • Previous experience within a Customer Service or Administrative position.
  • Proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a range of people
  • Presentable at all times, acting with professional conduct and showing empathy.
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential.
  • Supply the necessary documentation for a full DBS check

Advantageous:


  • Previous experience in the industry, though this is not required, as full training will be provided.
