    Senior/Associate CDM Principal Designer

    We are seeking a competent Senior/Associate CDM Principal Designer to join our team at The People Group Limited.

    The successful candidate will be an integral member of our Health and Safety CDM team, managing a diverse client portfolio including global investors and corporate occupiers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Delivery of statutory duty of Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015
    • Pre-Construction Information on behalf of Clients
    • Risk Management via Design Risk Review Workshops / Safety in Design Reviews
    • Understanding and evaluation of Construction Phase Plans, Method Statements, Design Risk Management & Risk Registers
    • Health and Safety Site Inspections and reporting
    • Continual development and improvement of CDM consultancy services

    Requirements:

    • Construction related degree (desirable)
    • Minimum of 18 months in a similar role
    • NEBOSH in Construction or equivalent qualification
    • Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body
    • Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Full UK driving licence
