We are looking for a
Head of Admissions and Application Management to join our team.


As Head of Admissions, Canadian Partners, you will provide the vision, leadership, management, and coordination of Kaplan's admission services to the University of Victoria and subsequent Canadian University Partners to come.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience leading an admissions team to success
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian education system and the international student recruitment industry
  • Excellent negotiating skills with the ability to influence internally and externally
  • Targetdriven and customer focused.
  • Extensive experience using and understanding CRM systems and developing processes.
  • Experience formulating and executing department strategy.
  • Ability to lead, coach, motivate and inspire staff to be industry leaders.
  • Ability to 'roll with the punches' and adapt to change easily, leading a team to the same.
  • Ability to prioritise and plan work effectively under tight deadlines, and under pressure with competing priorities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent team skills and the ability to work without close supervision.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to think on one's feet.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a matrix reporting structure and work collaboratively with all levels within the organization.
  • Multicultural outlook with a commitment to help international students achieve their study goals.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours where required (including early mornings and evenings to maximise international time zone cross over, and some weekends during critical periods)

Desirable:

  • Advance training in operations or customer service management
  • Extensive experience of operations planning and management in an Education or Training related setup
