A reputable Reading firm are seeking a residential property lawyer to join their growing team. The firm frequently features in the Legal 500 and has previously won the 'Best Professional Practice Award' in Richmond.

They have a total of four offices spreadacross the South East, and are looking to expand their busy residential property department due to an influx of work.

The role will see you working closely with the highly regarded Partner and Head of Department, and you will get the opportunity to work oncomplex work for high net worth individuals.

For this reason, this is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to learn from the best with exposure to an excellent caseload, or for a more experienced lawyer to work with a friendly and efficient team andhone their skills.

The role will see you working amongst a department consisting of a Partner, two secretaries and an assistant.

The firm are recruiting for two fee earners to complete the team, although there are clear intentions to expand in the future.

You will be responsible for fee-earning on a varied and high quality caseload and the role is also an opportunity to gain exposure to networking and business development locally.

To be successful, you will:

Be a qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer or chartered legal executive (however, experienced unqualified candidates are also invited to apply).
Have solid experience in residential property law preferablyfor a high net worth client base.
Be excited to help a growing firm develop, and enjoy business development.
