The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity within Distributions Operations for an Intermediaries Data and Operations Analyst. This area of the business provides a range of operations support to our Distribution sales teams. This role will support the on and off platformsales areas of the business.

In this role you will be an integral part of the wider Intermediaries Operations team which is responsible for supporting our sales teams sell to advisers both on and off platform.

It is therefore important that the successful applicant has excellent analytical& innovative skills, has a strong stakeholder management background and is proficient in Microsoft Power BI alongside experience in the retail and Platform sales industry.

You will help design and implement processes, provide insight through MI of the adviser market and resolve issues and problems that increase efficiencies within the sales areas.

It is important that you also develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholdersand provide support to Operations Managers in the wider team.

You will also need to be pro-active and spot opportunities to develop yourself and the business.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

Using Microsoft Power BI to bring together large amounts of data, creating dashboards that provide business insight
Working with senior stakeholders across both business arms, to support short and long term initiatives.
Presenting sales analytics back to key stakeholders and senior management at senior management team meetings
Helping to implement business change programs
Delivering data operations support to the Retail and Platform sales teams and sales management

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Experience working at a Platform within the Financial Industry and an understanding of the Platform market
Experience within the Retail sales side of the industry also desirable but not essential.
Knowledge / working experience of data analysis and reporting. Data analysis including; requirements, data modelling, data mapping and validation.
Proficient in Power BI & MS Excel, using these to interpret large scale data sets, providing key business insight to senior management
Experience of working with Salesforce CRMA (tableau) desirable
Experience of working within a project environment
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Initiative to spot areas for improvement in processes
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring work is accurate
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
