  • The teamOur national Employment team is widely respected for providing an excellent service, providing pragmatic and timely legal advice to its highly regarded client base. The team primarily works with employer clients along with some individual advisory work and a mix of both contentious and noncontentious matters. We also have specialists in advocacy, corporate work and business immigration.
  • The roleWorking with the London, Solent and Thames Valley Employment teams to provide a comprehensive and quality administrative support service. Role to be based in the Thames Valley Office. Training will be given for all internal and external systems
  • Main responsibilitiesThis role includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Opening and closing client files.
  • Copy/Audio typing.
  • Assisting with preparation and issuing of client engagement terms.
  • Supporting the PAs with the issue of invoices.
  • Supporting with cash collection assessments and reporting to/liaising with clients regarding payment of unpaid invoices.
  • Requesting and returning files from archive.
  • Efiling of correspondence and documents.
  • Scanning, printing, copying and collating documentation for Employment Tribunal bundles.
  • Assisting with various other tasks and duties as required.


  • Skills and qualifications

  • Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Friendly, positive attitude and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to maintain high standards whilst carrying out day to day tasks within the team.
  • Good typing skills.
  • Attention to detail and possess a neat and tidy approach to working practices.
  • Pleasant telephone manner.
  • A friendly and helpful approach to the team.
  • Must be organised and pay close attention to detail.
  • To work well alone and within the team.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Have a flexible approach to work with a "can do" attitude.
