Are you interested in becoming a Trainee Cover Supervisor? Tradewind will be running a 'Cover Supervisor School' local to Hull and the East Riding.

As a Trainee Cover Supervisor, you will be given the tools to cover classes for teachers by attending ourCover Supervisor School.

This will also be useful for individuals who have had experience in working in a school setting, or previously volunteered within a school setting.

Key duties include:
- supervising work that has been set in accordance with the school policy
- managing the behaviour of pupils while they are undertaking this work to ensure a constructive environment
- responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures
- dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school's policies and procedures
- collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher
- reporting back as appropriate using the school's agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover ALL of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
Have the academic ability and personality to inspire, engage and progress students from all backgrounds and of all ages
Some understanding of SEN and the desire to work with Special Needs pupils
