Are you looking for a challenging and dynamic role in the field of virtual learning support? We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our client, a prestigious London based University, as a Technology Support Specialist.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-class technology support to academic staff, ensuring that the virtual learning environment (VLE) is operating effectively.

This is a full-time temporary position with the added benefit of hybrid working.

Main Responsibilities:

Academic support enquiries for dealing with technical issues
Supporting with Moodle on a daytoday basis and the annual rollover process
Using Microsoft teams to provide 'deskside' support to academic and professional services staff
Any other adhoc duties

Necessary Skills:

Experience of working with a Moodlebased environment or equivalent VLE ability to quickly learn how to use new software/functionality.
Technology experience, training, or guiding
Experience of using video conferencing software in the delivery of teaching and learning resources (e.g. MS Teams, Kaltura, Echo 360).
Experience of working with MS Office mainly, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months

Salary:
£19.00-£19.30 per hour
