Kimpton Fitzroy London we are looking for an
Event Planning Executive to join our luxury hotel in
Central London

As part of the corporate and MICE events team, your role will be focused on maximizing sales through structured events planning and achieve budget targets and guests' satisfactions scores.

Has a flair for creativity, a knack for sales and well as able to give confidence to all guests walking through the door.


Our Event Planning Executive will:


  • Effectively plan and manage event bookings (MICE & Corporate) including residential and nonresidential
  • Drive sales for the department
  • Conduct engaging show rounds
  • Demonstrate exceptional planning and handover of all events bookings
  • Build effective communication with all other departments in the hotel
  • Deliver True Hospitality for guests resolving their issues and enabling the delivery of the brand experience
  • Ensure that brand standards are met at all times
  • Understand how to effectively plan, organise, and prioritise workload
  • Work collaboratively and supporting team members to deliver their goals
  • Adhere to company SOP's and ensure work is performed consistently within IHG policies
  • Ensure BDRC guidelines are met
  • Perform any additional responsibilities deemed necessary by the Events Lead


Given the nature of this role it's important that you have at least 1 years' experience within the service and hospitality industry.

You are experienced in building relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders across different market segments and most of all you have guest relations experience as the ability to communicate well with guests is paramount.

Knowledge of Opera, Delphi and Venue verdict would be an advantage. You must have strong strategic planning skills and you must demonstrate a high attention to detail.
