Manufacturing Supervisor

A leading Manufacturing company based in Lisburn, easily commutable from Belfast, Banbridge and Craigavon are currently on the lookout for Manufacturing Supervisor required for a growing manufacturing business.

You will be working with a successful manufacturing business who pride themselves on providing a high-quality service to customers and staff where you will be responsible for managing a large team to meet the requirements of production plan and overseeing any issues.

Duties Include:

Supervisor for planning and overseeing effective execution of all Production operations on shift.
Proactively manage the team to meet daily/weekly production plan demand.
Assessing project and resource requirements.
Ensure there is a comprehensive program of continuous improvement in place to improve quality, performance, efficiency and reduce costs through structured problem

- solving activities in line with the companies Quality Policies and systems.

Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met and followed at all times.
Overseeing production processes.
Ensure all equipment is working to standard and that any issues are reported to Maintenance or Engineering as appropriate using the appropriate paperwork and through the correct channel
Monitor KPIs, health and safety regulations, team budgets and more
Working with the general manager, transport manager and purchasing manager to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level at all times.
Managing process and material flows.

Experience Required:

34 years' experience within a similar role ideally within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Managerial/supervisory /team leader experience.
Budget Management and Financial Planning experience.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in line with company requirements.
Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
Working knowledge of production planning in a fastpaced environment.
