Description
I'm supporting a marker leader within transportation space, looking for an Assistant Financial Controller. This role will report directly into the FC and have high visibility to senior stakeholders including the Group FD. They are currently on an excitingjourney with many new projects commencing in the New Year.


What you'll be doing:

  • Manage period end and prepare financial statements
  • Key contact for the auditors, providing them with necessary information
  • Responsible for helping to drive continuous improvement of reporting systems
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts
  • Responsible for internal monthly packs reporting to the CEO and senior stakeholders
  • Assist the FC on projects

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Ideally come from an audit background with PQE
  • Strong communication skills working closely with senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong work ethic
