Quality Inspector (Aerospace)

DORSET
Permanent placement

£35-£37k per annum day shift with overtime available at time and half


Ristara Engineering is working in partnership with a Global Engineering company located in Dorset, that manufactures world-class machined, composite and fabricated components for the global Aerospace, MOD markets.


Due to a completely full order book and an expansive vision for the next 5 years they are now looking for a quality inspector to join there already established team.

You will become part of a team working on new and bespoke projects, allowing you to increase knowledge and skillset on the job.


This combined with a highly skilled, flexible, and responsive workforce, allows the company to focus on quality control, timescales and price guarantees, establishing them as one of the market leaders.


Located at one of there sites in Dorset you will be working alongside skilled engineering professionals to assist you in your new role and help develop your career.


What do you need?

  • Minimum 3 years as a quality inspector
  • Minimum 3 years working with aerospace quality systems
  • CMM experience
  • PC Demis, Faro arm and Miutoyo
  • Able to use various inspection equipment such as micrometres, callipers, height gauges and indicators
  • Able to read engineering drawings, work instructions and job cards
  • Maintaining AS9100 quality systems and FAIRS
  • Able to work under own supervision
  • Participate in NPIs, recognise the need for continuous improvement activities and participate in internal quality audits
