The successful applicant would be able to:

• Program and operate XYZ CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling and turning
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading drawings
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality

Requirements:

• Proven experience as CNC operator
• Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and good mathematic skills
• A keen eye for detail and resultsdriven approach
• Good communication abilities

Full Time position

• Monday to Friday

hours per week with 2.5 hours paid at time plus 1/3

Annual Leave - 22 days

Salary - £14.00 to £15.50 per hour depending on experience

Overalls and PPE provided for your health and safety


Pay:
£31,540.00-£34,919.00 per year
