Hours
8.00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday ( 40Hrs )
We are seeking an individual to fulfil a varied role which is admin based and will involve a mixture of accounts, reception, logistics and HR tasks.
The role will be fast-paced where attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is essential while working to deadlines.
You will be working as part of a small team in a busy office environment and key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Accounts & Admin Duties
- Answer Phones and Welcoming Visitors
- Including transferring to correct departments and taking messages
- Process purchase invoices from Suppliers
- Including gathering all relevant paperwork and inputting on Sage 50 Accounts.
- Purchase Ordering
- Placing orders from suppliers and filling in correct paperwork relating to this, updating relevant order logs
- Dispatching Goods
- Including making delivery notes, pro forma invoices, invoice details, certificates of conformity and booking carriers in.
- Liaising with Production office and Packing department if necessary when dispatching goods
- Chasing Payment from Customers including processing Stop List and sending customer statements using Sage 50 accounts
- Other general duties e.g. controlling refreshments for workshop, liaising with customers to meet their needs.
- Controlling and processing Petty Cash
- Providing all departments with financial information and reports from Sage 50 that they have requested.
- Providing all departments with admin assistance for any relevant tasks as requested.
HR Duties
- Provide administration to support the HR Team.
- Processing employee back to work interviews.
- Responsible for accurately filling and maintenance of employee's files and information, in accordance with data protection.
- Record training, induction and any other documentation, as required.
- Assist in the recruitment process and arranging interviews.
- Preparation of new starter documentation, contracts and any other associated documentation.
- Responsible for uniform ordering and allocating for new starters and current employees.
Requirements:
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to organise, plan and prioritise on your own initiative, including when under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Competent standard of English & Maths
- Good communication skills face to face and using the telephone.
- Ability to manage own workload
- Experience using SAGE advantageous
- Have experience of working in an engineering environment is desirable but not essential

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sheffield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Administrative experience: 3 years (preferred)
- Sage: 1 year (preferred)
