ABOUT US:

We are London's most iconic Italian delicatessen and restaurant, with locations in Soho, King's Cross, City, Marylebone and Clapham.

First opened in 1944, Lina Stores is known for its fresh, handmade pasta, meats, cheeses, antipasti and many more products — all imported from Italy Guests can enjoy our Italian dishes in our restaurant and take away the ingredients from our deli to recreate their Italian feast at home.

We also have an online shop which allows customers to order online quickly and easily with seamless deliveries straight to their front door.

All of this of course requires preparation, which is all done in our very own production kitchen in Peckham, Cucina da Lina, where we develop our high-quality Italian recipes.

THE ROLE:

As a Restaurant Host, you will meet, and greet and seat guests.

You will answer the telephone and check our booking system Seven Rooms delivering excellent customer service and handling all guests' complaints, requests and enquiries on food, beverage and service.

You will help the front-of-house team and you will work together with the management to provide a high standard of service.

YOU ARE:

An experienced host/ receptionist.

A well-presented and natural people-person, who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and the warmest welcome to all Lina Stores customers.

You are positive, confident, and highly organised, with the ability to independently run the reception desk and booking system. You remain calm under pressure and are a natural multitasker and team player.

Lina Stores Marylebone is housed on the corner of Marylebone Lane and Wigmore Street, at the entrance to Marylebone Village.

Set over two floors, it features a spacious all-day restaurant, fully-stocked delicatessen and downstairs bar, which also serves as the perfect private dining room for up to 60 guests.
