What does an Assistant Editor at CIG do?

Support Editors with dailies, selects and workflow to streamline the post process.
Organise and track ingested assets within video servers and offline hard drives.
Address simple technical notes within projects and invideo graphics when requested.
Conform, Online, Export and QC review edits and final deliverables.
Effectively communicate between Editors, Producers and Creative Leads.

What would we expect from our Assistant Editor?

Proven experience of assistant editing digital video content within Marketing, Advertising, Entertainment or Gaming industries.
Indepth knowledge working with Adobe Creative Cloud apps, specifically Premiere Pro, MS Office/Teams and across both Windows and Mac OS.
Comfortable working with common video codecs, formats, frame rates, bit rates, colour space, exporting, transcoding, and compression techniques.
Working knowledge of Production and Postproduction processes, terminology, and equipment.
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in tasks and deliverables.
