    As part of our growing portfolio, we operate Costa Coffee units at numerous events, providing great coffee and a welcoming environment for event-goers.

    We are looking for a passionate and experienced Casual Event Costa Unit Manager to join our team for upcoming events.


    Job Overview:

    The Casual Event Costa Coffee Unit Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Costa Coffee unit at events.

    You will manage a small team, ensuring that excellent customer service is provided, stock levels are maintained, and operational standards are adhered to.

    This role requires flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic event environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Team Management:
    Supervise and lead a team of baristas and hospitality staff, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.

    Customer Service:
    Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring all customers receive a high-quality coffee experience. Barista experience is essential.

    Operational Oversight:

    Oversee the set-up, operation, and breakdown of the Costa Coffee unit, ensuring it meets health, safety, and hygiene standards.


    Stock Management:
    Ensure stock levels are monitored and replenished as necessary to prevent shortages.

    Cash Handling:
    Handle cash and card transactions accurately and ensure all financial processes are followed.

    Training:
    Assist in training team members in Costa Coffee's product offerings, standards, and operational procedures.

    Event Support:

    Collaborate with event organizers and other event staff to ensure the smooth operation of all services and meet event-specific requirements.


    Problem Solving:
    Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.

    Health & Safety:

    Ensure that the Costa Coffee unit complies with all relevant health and safety regulations, including food handling, cleanliness, and emergency procedures.


    Skills & Experience:
    Proven experience in managing or supervising a fast-paced food and beverage operation, ideally within a café or hospitality environment.
    Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
    Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience.
    Experience working in event or festival environments is preferred but not essential.
    Ability to work independently and under pressure, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
    Good knowledge of Costa Coffee's product range and high standards of coffee preparation (training provided).
    Confident in cash handling and using POS systems.
    A proactive approach to solving problems and making quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
    Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on event schedules.
