Have you developed a career within business ethics and compliance? Are you looking for a position that will build upon your experience and challenge you? Do you want to be part of our purpose - to enable a zero carbon, lower cost energy future?

As our Business Ethics Programmes Specialist, you'll be reporting into the Head of Business Ethics and Group Policy Framework and supporting the wider Business Ethics team.

The location of this role is flexible, and we can offer hybrid working; if you can attend the office a couple of times a week and meet with the team on scheduled days, great

About the role

The purpose of the Business Ethics and Group Policy Framework team is to establish, implement, maintain and continuously improve effective compliance programmes to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct within Drax Group plc.

You'll manage two global programmes within the team to ensure continual compliance with the legal and regulatory obligations relating to Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) and Speak Up (whistleblowing).

Day to day you'll manage your allocated programmes, including the associated policies, guidance, training, awareness raising, risk assessments, risk registers, management reporting and investigations.

You'll provide pragmatic and risk-based advice to all levels of Drax on ethical or business conduct related matters and you'll also deliver training to increase awareness for colleagues, new starters, contract owners, non-permanent workers, and leaders on a global scale.

This is a role where you will be providing your experience and knowledge to drive our ethical standards, protocols and policies to a robust and appropriate standard.

A role whereby you can provide your value and be rewarded.

About you
Your proven experience of ethical compliance will be essential to this role.

You'll be communicating your expertise and guidance across Drax, and you'll be confident in writing reports and presenting them to senior management teams.

You'll have also have a strong understanding of ABC legislation and experience working with Speak Up (whistleblowing) legislation and managing associated investigations.

You'll naturally be an excellent communicator, capable of turning complex issues into concise and compelling messages to senior audiences and stakeholders at all levels.

If you're adaptable and results-driven, this role will certainly provide you with the platform to demonstrate just that. You're excellent organisational and prioritisation skills will be put to use to achieve high quality results to appropriate deadlines.

If all this sounds good, then we'd love to hear from you
