Payroll and Pensions Assistant
37 hours per week

Bristol - Hybrid working 3 days on-site and 2 days remote working

£23,715 - £27,131 per annum

Permanent role

A well-known organisation in Bristol is recruiting a permanent Payroll and Pensions Assistant for their Payroll team.


You will work in a team with ten colleagues who regularly process payrolls in excess of 5,000 people a month through our HR & Payroll system, MHR iTrent.


The Role:


  • Ensuring that employee queries are resolved in a timely manner, processing payroll and pension data changes and payments
  • You will be provided with training and support when you join us to help you settle into the role.
  • Ensuring new employees are set up on the HR/Payroll system and supporting the Payroll and Pensions Team to ensure an enhanced payroll and pension service for our customers.
  • The focus of the role is to provide payroll and pensions administration support and ensure continuous improvement of our processes for the Payroll and Pensions team and its customers.

Essential:


  • Experience of payroll related administration tasks within a large payroll, processing high volumes of employees and transactions.
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • You will be comfortable using MS Office and SharePoint and be competent with running mail merges.
  • Good understanding of HMRC and Autoenrolment pension regulations.
