A reputable charity is hiring a Leaving Care Project worker on a temporary agency contract for 3 to 6 months or longer.


As a leaving care worker you will bring sustainable change in the future of young people who are ready to leave the care system.

This is a trauma informed service supporting care experienced young people, focusing on therapeutic holistic support, understandingof Trauma and Safeguarding being paramount for the role.


  • An experienced support worker that has strong knowledge around trauma informed practice, safeguarding and has worked with children or young people in the care sector.
  • Previous experience working as an agency worker and willing to take on a temporary contract, hit the ground running with your skills
  • Ideally someone with experience working with Interpreters as some of young people's first language is not English.
  • IT skills and written skills are important as statutory documentation including assessments need to be carried out.
This is a Monday to Friday 9 to 17 service however some flexibility is required with this. There will be some home working involved however please expect travelling to the Peterborough office on a regular basis.

Pay is up to £17 per hour using an umbrella company. This is currently an ongoing contract, charity works on funding.
