Contract Repairs & Maintenance Surveyor job 3 months work and up to £30 an hour
Your new organisation

As a Repair & Maintenance Surveyor you will be working for an organisation local to Bridgend responsible for the management and maintenance of over 6000 homes located across the South Wales region.

This is a customer orientated organisation that prides itselfon customer service.
Your new role

Your role as a Repairs & Maintenance Surveyor will be varied and is critical to ensure homes are maintained to the highest possible standard.

You will undertake initial property inspections to diagnose defects and advise on the required course of action - thiswill mean liaising with the tenant and often a specialist contractor, before managing works comprehensively overseeing cost, quality and timescales.

These works are primarily focussed on damp & mould analysis and will need quality customer service experience.
What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role you may have a background in residential Building Surveying, Property Maintenance, or Construction Project Management.

It would be preferable to have an HNC / HND or equivalent in construction or building, although this is notessential.

What you'll get in return

In return you will receive an initial contract with duration of 3-months and you will receive a competitive hourly rate of pay, and will be able to take advantage of annual leave entitlement as well as pension contributions under the PAYE or umbrella choicesof pay.
