Description

To provide support for the Medical Imaging and Medical Physics (MIMP) Governance Lead, directorate executive leadership team and managers and in the delivery of an effective governance agenda in order to continually improve patient care and patient experience.


To work in partnership with patients, carers and the multi-disciplinary teams to create an environment that is safe, caring, responsive, effective and well led, in which high quality care is delivered.


To provide support for the Governance Lead in the delivery of an effective governance agenda in order to continually improve patient care and patient experience.

To plan and co-ordinate all aspects of risk and governance service to Medical Imaging and Medical Physics Directorate.

To be responsible for planning and implementation of governance projects across the Directorate.

To work in partnership with patients, carers and the multi-disciplinary To support good practice in minimising risk across the Directorate in line with local and national guidance.

To support work relating to complaints, claims and inquests to ensure that the Directorate provides an effective and timely response.

To maintain positive professional links with medical and non-medical staff to promote good governance within each specialty.
