Following substantial investment by leading global construction firm, GS Engineering & Construction (GS E&C), Elements Europe have a number of large projects in the pipeline and is looking to scale up the delivery capability with immediate effect.

Main functions:


The Head of Quality is responsible for Overseeing and maintaining the companies Integrated Management System and ensuring that this complies to the BS EN ISO / / requirements, they shall also audit, update and review this system on a regular basis.


The Head of Quality is also responsible for overseeing the Management of the Quality Team and also the Cleaner/Mastic team ensuring that the needs of production in regard to sign off of modules and Bathroom pods is carried out on time / to sequence.


Roles and Responsibilities


The Head of Quality will guide the business as a whole towards its long-term Quality Assurance vision, formalising Quality policies & procedures, and establishing performance metrics for the business.


  • To champion the development of a Quality culture.
  • Continually develop, manage and control all aspects of the companies integrated Quality Management System
  • Maintain the mechanisms for the timely reporting and analysis of process Quality data and recommend / coordinate / facilitate continuous improvement activities.
  • Establish and implement the necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of Quality issues across the business.
  • Brief the manufacturing team on quality performance and inform senior management of significant developments identified during quality control activities.
  • Interpret legislative information to translate into practical workable documentation for the IMS.
  • Maintain certification for ISO , ISO 14001,OHSAS 18001, BOPAS, CE Marking and EN1090.
  • Act as primary coordinator for the external certification body to ensure the IMS standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Liaise with operational managers to support the development, delivery and
- maintenance of the IMS at the local level.

  • Manage the system to ensure that the work activities required within the IMS are completed on time and in the manner originally intended.
  • Manage. Organise and monitor the IMS internal audit programme.
  • Undertake internal audits, both formally as part of the audit programme and informally.
  • Organise and distribute the documentation for the IMS Management review.
  • Report on the performance of the IMS to directors, senior managers and other interested parties.
  • Identify training needs related to the IMS.
  • Ensure full compliance with all company policies and procedures including health and safety and employment.
  • Ensure that an internal audit programme is adopted to verify that the QMS conforms to planned expectations and is effectively implemented and maintained. Ensure that appropriate action is taken when this is not the case.
To be considered for the position of Head of Quality you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Ideally Degree qualified or be able to demonstrate relevant experience of working in this environment.
  • An exceptional knowledge of the implementation and Management of both BS-ENISO and BS-EN ISO
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Someone who has experience of both internal and supplier auditing and have hosted external certification audits.
  • Modular manufacturing experience is desirable
