The Role


The firm are looking for a Construction Solicitor (3-5 PQE) to join their flourishing Newcastle office in the heart of the City.

Join a well-established team that hosts one of the largest Construction & Property teams in the country. The department have also been recognised in the Legal 500 and won a number of awards for their work.


You will have the opportunity to work on a varied and interesting caseload covering either contentious or non-contentious matters (or a mix of both), including advice on procurement, drafting contracts and sub-contract terms, development agreements, warranties, guarantees, adjudication, arbitration, litigation and mediation.


You will deal with clients of all sizes from national and international contractors, sub-contractors, to household name retailers, large commercial developers and land owners.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the firms growth agenda.


Requirements:


  • You will be a Construction Solicitor 35 years PQE
  • A good level of experience dealing with contentious and/or noncontentious matters.
  • The ability to confidentially manage your own caseload of high calibre work and clients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You will be a team player with excellent attention to detail.

Remuneration

  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme


This will be a hands-on, Construction Solicitor role where you will get experience ahead of your years in this entrepreneurial firm in the centre of Newcastle.
