The Role
The Product Compliance Coordinator will be based at our London headquarters and report to the Quality Team Manager.
Their role will broadly involve collecting product compliance information and communicating it to other stakeholders as well as actions to ensure compliant product in production and the supply chain.
They will work closely with the Engineering, Purchasing and Sales Teams.Job responsibilities:
- Respond to sales team and customer requests for product safety and compliance information. Issue EU and UK declarations of conformity, certificates of conformity, certificates of origin, declarations of origin and other such documents.
- Ensure the proper storage and availability of product certifications and other compliance information.
- Work with the Purchasing Team to ensure supplier quality documents are kept uptodate. Collect management system certifications, safety documents
- Prepare Supplier Review documents in readiness for annual Supplier Appraisal.
- Organise and assist with Conflict Minerals data collection campaign.
- Prepare Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) reports for submission.
- Work with the Panorama supply chain, Panorama's third Party auditors the VCA and other statutory bodies to schedule audits and organise certifications. Assist with the compilation of preaudit documents and attend audits to provide support. Ensure evidence of corrective action and improvement are obtained as required by the audit results.
- Raise Quality Concerns with suppliers. Enter in Jira Service desk and obtain evidence of corrective action to manage the ticket to closure.
- Organise the calibration of tools and equipment. Send materials out for calibration and ensure and organise the attendance of calibration technicians on site. Obtain and record calibration certificates once calibration is complete.
- Assist with the confirmation, approval and recording of supplier preshipment inspection reports.
- Enter compliance information into our inhouse SAP system and external databases.
- Monitor legislation/standards and update compliance documents as required.
- Perform other tasks as required by the Quality Team Manager or Quality Director.
Job requirements:
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Good numeracy.
- An ability to work to tight deadlines and respond quickly to requests.
- Excellent team working skills.
Appreciated but not essential:
- Good spoken and written Mandarin.
- Technical experience.
Salary:
£27,600.00 per year
