Kitchen AssistantTimings: 11am to 6pm - 3/4 days in a week (must be able to work on two weekends per month)
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and meat.
- Measure and weigh ingredients.
- Assist in plating, garnishing dishes and packaging.
- Stock inventory and rotate food supplies.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Note:
This position is specifically for catering services.
