We currently have an exciting opportunity to join theChildren's Community Nursing Servicein our Inner London Division We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiasticBand 7 Children's Community Nurse Team Leadwho islooking to share and develop their skills in the largest community healthcare trust in London


The post holder will workas part of the Children's Community Nursing Team, taking overall responsibility for the assessment, management and evaluation of evidenced based nursing care to children and their families or carers.

The post holder will alsowork in conjunction with 2 other Team Leads and the Specialist Nursing Service Manager in managing the resources of the Team, including staff, in line with professional standards and quality of care and provide managerial cover in the absence of the Specialist Nursing Service Manager.

You will work closely with the Children's Community Nursing Team, Social Services, and hospital teams.


The team provides a service to children and young people aged years, and works across the 3 London Boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Westminster.

The team works closely with colleagues in Primary Care, hospitals, social services and education.
This post is for 18.75 hours per week, which will be worked flexibly over 7 days a week.

This post offers a great opportunity for an experienced children's community nurse to develop and enhance leadership skills and experience in community nursing.

The organisation is supportive of training needs and there is an excellent mandatory training and education programme. You will also receive regular clinical supervision and safeguarding supervision.
