UPHOLSTERY CLEANER/ WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
Cunninghame Furniture Recycling Company (CFRC) is a subsidiary company of the award winning registered social landlord Cunninghame Housing Association.

CFRC was established to find new homes for unwanted furniture across Ayrshire and generate job and training opportunities for local residents.

We are currently recruiting for the following posts through the Skills for Life Parental Employment Programme to be based within our furniture showroom in Irvine:



POST:
UPHOLSTERY CLEANER/ WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE




SALARY:
£10.90 PER HOUR (LIVING WAGE SCOTLAND)




HOURS PER WEEK:
35 HOURS PER WEEK (26 WEEK FIXED TERM CONTRACT)


The Upholstery Cleaner / Warehouse Operative will also ensure Upholstery items such as sofas/mattresses/chairs/etc are thoroughly cleaned using the cleaning equipment/materials provided.


The post holders will report to the Works Controller but will also receive supervision whilst collecting and delivering furniture and when carrying out house clearances from Van Driver / Supervisors.

The post holders must have excellent customer service skills and experience of working in a warehouse environment would be desirable but not essential.


Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 26 weeks

£10.90 per hour
