As NHS Scotland's unique provider of a national tele-health and tele-care service, we are responsible for the delivery of health advice and information by telephone and online services to the population of Scotland 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

NHS 24 is a patient-focused service providing the people of Scotland with triage, advice, guidance, referral and information on health and healthcare services


Where We Are:

Our Regional Centres are located at Hillington, Cardonald, Clydebank
, South Queensferry, Dundee and Aberdeen.
This post can be based in either our Hillington centre. NHS 24 also supports Hybrid Working.


_ The Role._


The post holder will transform operational workforce processes to become more streamlined, automated, and driven by data, enabling improved workforce experiences for employees and managers across the employee lifecycle.


In addition, you will support the development and delivery of a digital transformation plan for the Workforce Directorate which bring about real benefits and efficiencies to NHS 24 employees and managers and support the achievement of the Workforce Strategy.


_Key Responsibilities:
_


  • Explore how to best utilise technology and digital solutions to deliver a great HR service to the workforce, including electronic forms, workflows and integrations
  • Encourage a digital culture where the Workforce directorate, all employees and managers embrace new technology through workforce digital solutions and a digitalfirst mindset
  • Develop and embed digital HR tools and processes to improve the workforce experience and enhance operational performance through datadriven, automated practices
  • Develop a roadmap that guides the digital transformation of manual HR processes
  • Create and implement innovative workforce solutions, responding flexibly and quickly to customer needs.
  • Design and deliver appropriate Workforce systems, processes and tools across the employee lifecycle
  • Project manage the implementation of digital workforce solutions and developments, reporting and presenting progress to relevant meetings and committees
  • Propose, devise, and implement processes, procedures and training guides for all workforce system/dashboard users
  • Development of automated reports, dashboards and reporting of workforce KPIs and complex trends in NHS 24

_ The successful applicant will:
_


  • Have significant experience in an IT/Digital/Data related field within a HR/Workforce function
  • Relevant knowledge in 1 of the following areas:
  • Cloud Based Workforce/HR Transformation
  • Digital Workforce/HR Strategy
  • Workforce Operating Model & Service Delivery
  • Workforce Planning
  • People Analytics
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Project management experience
  • Extensive experience in the provision, analysis and presentation of management information including designing reports/dashboards/sharepoint sites
  • Experience working in report creation, modelling, and trend forecasting

NHS 24 offers a complete benefits package, with a permanent contract on Band 6 £37,831 - £46,100 (pro rata). Placement on salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service.
