We have an exciting opportunity for a
Conveyancing Assistant to join our clients fantastic and well renowned Law Firm in their
Leeds City Centre offices.


You will have a strong background within a conveyancing department with new build sales and purchase, where you be able to hit the ground running, used to dealing with a high volume of work and capable of following instructions quickly and accurately as this is a fast-paced team environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Opening new filesand instructions into the Case Management system and generating relevant correspondence and documents
  • Maintaining the Case Management system following team protocols as cases progress
  • Administering contracts for sale transactions and aiding in addressing enquiries
  • Coordinating searches and processing related documentation
  • Managing exchanges and associated paperwork
  • Facilitating completion processes
  • Providing clients with Mortgage reports
  • Handling incoming mail as necessary
  • Dealing with telephone ca;;s
  • Performing clerical tasks such as filing, billing, faxing, photocopying, mail sorting, and archivingas required
  • Undertaking general administrative responsibilities for the office and the firm

Requirements:


  • Experience in a similar fastpaced role
  • 2+ years of experience in conveyancing
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Literate and numerate
  • Strongaccuracy and attention to details
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Ability to work on own initiative & as part of a team
