Job Purpose:

To ensure all items of furniture produced are checked to ensure quality standards are met and to transfer items to conveyor.

Main Duties:

To identify and place completed orders onto the conveyor belt.
To ensure all loose threads have been removed by Cushion filler/ upholsterers.
To ensure all items are blown down by Track member.
Ensure any marks are removed, using available equipment.
To correctly assess the product, ensuring all upholstery methods, fillings, pillow cushions, scatter cushions and bolsters are correct. (dependent upon the model)
To ensure correct feet are attached. (dependent upon model)
To ensure the correct identification label is with each item.
To ensure that the furniture has date stamp, track ID and the sign off have been completed.
To keep the platform area in a clean and clear state and maintain good housekeeping practice at all times.
To liaise with Upholstery management if consistent problems are occurring.
To identify and log faults on the daily valet record sheet.
To mark upholstery plan accordingly.
To embrace a teamwork ethic.
To adhere to Health & Safety procedures.
50p per hour attendance bonus.

Our factory is 250,000 sq ft, as well as the space in the mezzanine area, and is currently busy producing a record order book.

Lebus Upholstery are regarded as the market leaders in the quality commercial upholstered furniture market.

In our custom built 250,000 square feet factory, probably the largest one site operation of its kind in the country a dedicated workforce and a strong leadership team devote all their talents and experience to the design and construction of Lebus models - many of which are exclusive.

Lebus produces quality hardwood frames from seasoned timbers with all joints glued and pinned for triple strength and rigidity.
