SAP UK is looking for a
Senior Analytics Cloud Planning Consultant to join the EMEA Analytics & Insight team.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

In summary:

Delivery consulting (creation of business blueprints, architecture, implementation based on a blueprint, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go live support, and post go live support)
Support in escalated projects
Performance of feasibility studies / solution reviews
Support of presales activities
Regular responsibility as a sub project team leader internally and externally
Subject matter expert and internal team lead to enable others

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

In addition to a strong business and analytics background, the position requires strong problem-solving and consulting capabilities with the ability to communicate effectively in an international team environment.

Background:

University / Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering or equivalent
Strong industry or LoB knowledge
Very strong SAP Analytics solution know how
Fluent in English (German in addition would be very beneficial)

Personal skills:

Experience of working in a virtual team is highly desirable this role will require a lot of remote working on client sites as a single point of contact for SAP
Ability to travel up to 100% and at immediate notice throughout Europe and possibly globally
Ability to inspire confidence and work with all levels of client and internal staff
Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations to nonscientific audiences
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English at fluent level is a must
Ability to discuss on C-Level and translate their expectations towards a corporate management solution into a business blueprint

Customer facing skills:

Ability to capture customer requirements and translate them into software specifications
Ability to present complex information in a clear and precise manner, with nontechnical audience
Professional appearance and demeanour
Presentation skills ability to create professional presentations, handle proper setup of location, use technical/visual aid, have adequate body language and vocabulary, proactively engage with customer and handle questions
Project Management track record (liaison with Customer, Sales team, Marketing, Customer Service teams)

Work experience:

7+ years overall experience in business and technical roles across SAP technologies such as SAP Analytics Cloud, BW, and BPC
Detailed handson delivery experience in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning (at least one full life cycle project) with a preference for delivery in xP&A (extended planning and analysis), covering sales and operations, finance, and HR planning data
Track record of successfully implementing production of analytics projects in challenging environments
Excellent analytical skills to solve complex problems; a structured, reliable and independent way of working under pressure; safe and friendly appearance and general communication skills.
