The main responsibilities are to drive and achieve the Erborian Wholesale targets (sales & P&L) as well as represent the brand across all touchpoints to ensure positive brand awareness.


The role will lead the Erborian Wholesale team, drive new business as well as maintain and grow current client opportunities.

This relates to sell-in and sell-out.


This role is also responsible for working in close collaboration with the wider business as well as Digital & PR to ensure global consistency and development of this channel.


What Will You Do?:


Wholesale Department Management

  • Build up a strong a comprehensive commercial strategy, accelerating existing w/s accounts and growing B&M footprint
  • Establish and maintain strong commercial relationships with key accounts to grow customer business.
  • Develop innovative proposals and deliver sales presentations during both monthly and strategy meetings in all key accounts.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with retailers
  • Ensure sufficient brand visibility and support from retailers to foster high pace growth through commercial plans and marketing plans
  • Manage and prioritize efficiently the resources (people & investments) to ensure meeting the ambitious budget target. Work closely with the management in planning strategy, priorities, and objectives to ensure wholesale/retail targets are achieved.
  • Organize onthefield training whenever needed.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities working closely with the UK Director

Leadership

  • Lead and manage the UK WHS Team including one Key Account Manager and one Junior Key Account Manager
  • Review objectives and responsibilities on a regular basis maximising the efficiency of the team
  • Ensure a personal and professional development throughout the year.

Monitor, Achieve and Analyse Sales

  • Build budget and targets in line with international strategy guidelines
  • Analyse and report the brand performances to manage efficiently the actions to put in place (sellin and sellout).
  • Set up relevant KPI (key performance indicators) to monitor our performances in our retailers.
  • Review and monitor poor performance and ensure that an action plan is put in place for consistent improvement.

Administration:

Ensure all paperwork is filled out completely and received by the necessary deadlines for new Wholesale accounts and new Key Account locations.


Trade Marketing
Ensure trade marketing and distribution development in an efficient and comprehensive way for the brand (trade marketing online & offline, pricing etc), based on client's prioritisation

Prepare and present the strategy meetings

Propose and lead action plan in consistency with the brand strategy


Brand Manager

  • Drive the brand strategy and be the guarantor of Erborian expansion in UK: build a comprehensive strategy to grow all channels including D2C
  • Build up the budget targets and be the guarantor of budget target achievement (sales & profit), ensuring close steering throughout the year. Ensure ambitious 3year plan fulfilment.
  • Impulse the brand strategy in term of development and animation throughout the year, considering all externalities. Anticipate timings to ensure flawless execution. Setup actions and spend budget in consistency with the brand strategy, including digital strategy.
  • Be proactive in developing the brand on different fields: Commercial opportunities, communication opportunities (with PR), new actions etc.

Relationships:


  • Be Erborian key contact on UK market for transversal team (Finance, logistic team ) and business team (digital).
  • Ensure formal meetings as well as informal discussions so all the Erborian stakeholders have the right level of information and visibility on the Pipeline and clients activities.
  • Work on price positioning along with the Digital team whenever needed.
  • Support team development; coaching the team on best practices, delivery of targets, retailer relationships and commercial competencies
  • Ensure training of colleagues and partners when necessary
  • Be Erborian key contact on UK market for external stakeholders (Clients, speak persons, any other interaction)

P&L;

  • Build yearly sales/brand plans for each key account and revise it during each reforecast proactively if needed.
  • Review Sales targets/Budgets and P&L with UK director on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Communicate closely with finance team
  • Be the referent on all the P&L lines excluding digital. Manage all lines of the P&L from retail sell out to sell in to ensure delivery on/above target for your retailer and Erborian Business
  • Manage Marketing/Wholesale Budgets and review forecasts and targets monthly.

Stock Management:


  • Proactively manage forecasts with central team to ensure sufficient stock level
  • Prevent Clients out of stock thanks to efficient client's stock review
  • Maintain at a minimum level the excess & obsolete stock
