Manufacturing Production Assistant - FABRICATION

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday


Contract:
Permanent


Salary:
£26,000 per annum depending on experience

PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, is looking for Manufacturing Production Assistants in our Fabrication Department, to join our growing manufacturing facility, with career progression opportunities.

Our newly established facility at Rugby is expanding rapidly and we are seeking motivated and committed people to join our team

As Manufacturing Production Assistant, you will cover component preparation and assembly tasks for high-end specification products.

You will take pride in the quality of your workmanship, be self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic.

You will have industry experience in this field and be available for a full-time position with flexibility for overtime in the busy times.


PWR is a global market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance, automotive cooling solutions, supplying high profile race teams in Formula 1, NASCAR, V8 Supercars, WRC, DTM, and LMP among others.


Specific Duties of Role

Shall include but not limited to the following:

  • Assisting tradesman
  • Assembly of parts
  • Sheetmetal prep work
  • Core prep work
  • Various clean up procedures for each job
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Deburring
  • Quality Assurance
  • General production to support manufacture process
  • Duties as directed by Fabrication Supervisor

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Works in accordance with standard operating procedures and established criteria
  • Works under direct supervision either individually or in a team environment;
  • Understands and undertakes basic quality control/assurance procedures including the ability to recognise basic quality deviations/faults;
  • Understands and utilises basic statistical process control procedures;
  • Follows safe work practices and can report workplace hazard
  • Basic hand and power tools experience
  • Able to communicate verbally with work colleagues and supervisor
  • Highly motivated
  • Team player
  • Strong work ethics through high standards of personal and professional behaviour
