The team at Ortus Recruitment are dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of teaching and learning is being implemented in our client schools. We are currently looking for an experienced, proactive and passionate individual to join the team at a primary school in the London Borough of Brent.
You will be aided by a lovely and supportive Senior Leadership Team, who will always be on hand.

As well as this, the school offer
CPD courses and
training when necessary to help further your career and for those deemed most suitable, there is the opportunity to be placed on the school's
Teacher Training Programme.

THE ROLE:_

  • Develop a tailored and creative program suitable for SEN children
  • Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach SEN children
  • Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build selfesteem
  • Encourage SEN children to interact with each other and resolve occasional conflicts
  • Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colours, do crafts etc.)
  • Track children's progress and report to parents
  • Collaborate with other educators
  • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
